Five ‘SSCE credits including English and Mathematics or TC II with pass in English and at least 4 other subjects.
Three of Lit. in English, History, French, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, CRK, Islamic Studies, Geography/Physics, Economics Government and Mathematics
Special Requirements:
(i) UNIPORT requires five O’ level credit pass in English Language, the teaching subject and any other three.
WAEC Subject Combination For Agricultural Science and Education 2025/2026
Five SSCE credits or equivalent in English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science., Mathematics and another relevant subject.
Special Requirements:
(i) EKSU and UNICAL accept a pass in Chemistry.
(ii) RSUST accepts a pass in English Language and Mathematics.
(iv) FUAM requires Agric and accepts either Biology or Physics.
(v) DELSU accepts a pass in English Language.
(vii) UNIBEN require five O/L credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology/Agricultural Science.

Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Tech. Draw, Further. Mathematics., Introduction to Building Construction, Bricklaying/Block laying, Concreting, Wall, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Joinery, Carpentary, Decorative Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging , Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing, Ceramics, Graphics Design, Graphic Printing, Basic Electricity.
Special Requirements:
(i) ANSU and MAUTECH accept a pass in English Language.
(ii) AAU and ABSU – Chemistry not compulsory
(iii) UNILAG requires credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Fine Arts or Tech. Drawing and any of Economics, Chemistry, Geography or Biology.

(x) FUTA requires five credit passes at the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or NECO or GCE O/L or its equivalent at NOT more than two sittings in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Physics; and two credits from Technical Drawing, Chemistry, Geography, Fine Arts and Economics. Candidates must have at least a pass in Chemistry.

Five SSCE credits to include: English Language, Mathematics and any other relevant subjects. For NBC the other two relevant subjects could be from any of the following, Accounting, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, office Practice and Economics.
Special Requirements:
(i) ABU does not accept a combination of Local Languages and Religious Knowledge.
(ii) BIU, AAUA, UNIUYO, UNIZIK, ESUT, EKSU, IMSU, UNIPORT and UNILAG require credit in Economics and two other subjects.
(iii) IMSU and BIU accept credit/merit in English Language in TC II.
(iv) UNIPORT requires Economics and does not accept commercial subjects.
(vi) UNILAG requires five ‘O’ level credits to include English language, Mathematics, Economics and any other science Social Science or Arts subject.
(vii) AUN requires Five ‘O’ level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and any other three subjects from the following; Economics, Geography, Government, History, Literature in English, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Visual Arts, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Civics, Environmental Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and French.

(ix) UNN requires five O’ level credits to include:
English Language, Mathematics and any other relevant subjects. For NBC the other two relevant subjects could be from any of the following: Accounting, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, office Practice and Economics.
(x) EKSU requires credit pass in Economics plus other social Science subjects at the SSCE.

(i) ABU requires at least a pass in Arabic Language. Accepts credit passes in Social Science/Art subjects.
(ii) OOU does not accept Social Science subjects.
(iii) UNILAG requires five credit passes in English, Mathematics, IRS and 2 of Literature in English, Yoruba, Igbo, History or Government, French, CRS, Economics and Arabic.
(iv) LASU requires credit pass in Mathematics.

(ii) IAUED Music is not compulsory.
(iii) OAU requires five ‘O’ level credits or equivalents including English Language and Music. Credit/merit passes in TCII or Certificate in Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ARRASM) are acceptable.
(iv) UNIUYO does insist on credit pass in Music but requires credit pass in Mathematics.

Special Requirements:
(i) ANSU and ESUTECH accept a pass in the English Language.
(ii) NDU requires five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject in not more than two sittings.
(iii) OSUSTECH and UNILAGOS require credit pass in Further Mathematics.
(iv) UI accept ND/HND at upper credit level.
(v) UI accepts 2 ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics plus UTME requirements. Accepts also
ND/HND at upper credit level {65%} accepted to 200/300 Upper levels respectively plus UTME requirements. Knowledge of Further Mathematics is an advantage for all Engineering Courses.
(vi) COVENANT requires O/L five credit in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and either of Further Mathematics, Biology or Technical Drawing.
(vii) NTNU accepts English Language, Mathematics and either Physics or Chemistry and any other two Science subjects.

(iv) REDEEMER’S requires Five ‘O’ Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects in Social Sciences.
