WAEC Result 2025: WASSCE Result Checker 2025/2026

WAEC has released the 2024/2025 WAEC Results for school candidates in Nigeria. The announcement was made on Monday by the Head of WAEC Nigeria. Students can now check their results using the WAEC result checker.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the 2024 WASSCE results as of August 12, 2024. Students nationwide are now keen to see their scores. If you participated in this year’s WAEC exams, here’s how you can check your results:

To check your WAEC GCE result, visit the official WAEC result portal and input your examination number, year, and scratch card PIN. After submitting these details, you can view your results directly on the website.

In WAEC grading, a C6 is a credit grade, indicating a satisfactory performance. While it shows you’ve passed the subject, it might not meet the requirements for more competitive programs or institutions.

For the 2024 WASSCE, 1,814,736 candidates from 25,126 schools in Nigeria registered. Of these, 1,685,889 results (93.39%) have been processed and released, while 119,327 results (6.61%) are still pending due to unresolved issues.

WAEC is working to release these results within a few days. Additionally, 109,115 candidates with special needs, including 145 visually challenged and 473 hearing-impaired candidates, have had their results processed and released.

WASSCE Result Checker 2025/2026

To check your WAEC results online:

• Visit https://www.waecdirect.org/
• Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.
• Input the 4-digit Examination Year (e.g., 2024).
• Select the Type of Examination.
• Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number and your
• Personal Identification Number (PIN).
• Click “Submit” to view your results.

How To Chech WAEC Result Via Sms 2025/2026

To receive your WAEC result via SMS:

• Type WAECExaminationNumberPIN*ExamYear (no spaces) on your mobile phone.
• Please send it to 32327.

This service is available for MTN, Glo, and Airtel subscribers. If you don’t receive your results, repeat the process. Note that SMS charges apply. Results will also be available online within 12 hours, and certificates will be issued within 48 hours if all WAEC requirements and financial obligations are met.

Using the WAEC Mobile App

Download the WAEC mobile app from either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Open the app and follow the instructions to check your results by entering your exam number and PIN.

Summary

Out of 1,805,216 candidates who took the 2024/2025 WASSCE, 1,332,089 (73.79%) achieved credit or above in at least five subjects, with 1,301,941 (72.12%) including English Language and Mathematics. Female candidates slightly outperformed male candidates in this category.
