WAEC Areas Of Concentration for Basic Electricity/ Applied Electricity 2025/2026
The WAEC Areas Of Concentration for Basic Electricity/ Applied Electricity 2025/2026 aims to ensure students have a solid understanding of fundamental concepts and principles related to electricity.
Key learning objectives include the ability to use tools and equipment for the maintenance and repair of electrical devices, comprehension of the operation and application of simple electrical/electronic devices, and awareness of safety procedures in both domestic and industrial contexts.
The examination consists of three papers: Paper 1 features fifty multiple-choice questions to be completed in one hour for 50 marks; Paper 2 includes sections tailored for different countries, requiring candidates to answer five questions in total, lasting one hour and worth 50 marks; Paper 3 is a practical exam where candidates must complete two experiments within three hours for 100 marks.
